Cosmic Valentine is an independent art and skate brand based in Costa Mesa, California. We make zines, skate hardware, graphic objects, and limited edition products for people who care about culture, craft, and community. Most products are made in California in our workshop. Our zine is printed and assembled by hand.
Cosmic Valentine Zine is a DIY publication covering skateboarding, music, surf culture, California art, punk aesthetics, and independent design. The zine is available until it's gone - as a bundle with hardware and collectible objects and creations.
We are a small California project, maybe a brand, with a point of view not owned by one of the corporate or private equity funds that control mainstream skateboarding and surf imagery, media, industry, and art direction. Not trend-driven. Improve our lives together - we grew from skateboarding culture, surf utility, our forefathers who made the cultures and tools that modern culture is built on - we write love letters to them through zine making, screen printing, and handmade goods.
