Cosmic Valentine is an independent creative studio in California.

We make things — starting with zines as a source of DIY direction and inspiration. The rest comes from that creative origin: skateboard hardgoods, and objects of art and utility that come out of the work itself. Everything begins in our California workshop — designed and tested here, made here when the work calls for it.

The studio draws from skateboarding, surfing, automotive and vintage racing, and punk zine culture — cultures built on constant creativity and confrontation, fueled by internal drive and dedication, and always challenging the status quo. Skate jazz is music curated and arranged for its contribution to the foundations of future music, and for its improvisational likeness to skateboarding.

Cosmic Transmissions is the studio's journal and newsletter — process, releases, and transmissions from the workshop.

Cosmic Valentine is led by a designer with more than twenty years directing design and innovation for some of the most iconic names in skateboarding, footwear, and apparel — including collaborations with culturally significant athletes, artists, musicians, and brands. That experience is in everything the studio makes.
